Truly deeply madly...!

John 6:26-27 NKJV

Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.  Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”

Shalom! Day #328. Do you know that many believers and non-believers seek the Lord not with a sincere heart but with an expectation of receiving something from Him? Let's pray. Father, forgive us for seeking Your hands and not Your face. As we come before You today, help us to sincerely to come and seek You with all our hearts. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Many of us seek Jesus not because of the signs which He have performed, but because we have been fed by Him. Meaning to say, when we are in need, we come to Jesus and when we have received it from Him, we go away. When in desperated situation, people will just do anything to receive the things the need to fulfil their needs. But tell me is there anyone who truly deeply madly seeks the Lord with all their hearts? Let me tell you one thing as a servant of God. In a church,  out of 100%, 70% wanting something from God and focused on His hands and 30% are those who really seeks the Lord truly deeply madly not focusing on His giving hands, but on His face and His glory.

Do not labor for the earthly food which only will satisfy our stomach only but seek for the spiritual food that will satisfy both our spirit and being. When you seek the Lord with all our hearts, therefore He will give you the everlasting eternal satisfaction for your soul and spirit. Let His face be our main focus and not His hands. If today you have the habits of seeking Jesus when you are in need, it's time for you to repent and come back to your first love. It's time for you to seek Him and not His hands. Let be truly deeply madly in love with Jesus. Let us be truly deeply madly seek Him. A single heart in loving and seeking God!

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
