No turning back...!

Luke 9:62 NKJV

But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Shalom! Day #312. Do you know that the moment you start serving God then suddenly you stop serving and get out of the ministry, it will affect your whole life? Let's pray. Father, make us to realize the seriousness and the importance of serving You and doing Your ministry. Let us be not playful and just for namesake want to do Your ministry. But let it be so that from the day one we start serving and doing Your ministry, that we will remain faithful till the end of our life serving You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

The bible says in the book of James,  a double hearted person will never prosper in anything,  only will have a miserable life. This is a warning for those who wanting to serve fulltime and to do His ministry as well as to those who are serving in the church. If you have started to serve God, then continue in it no matter what happens. Don't make your problems as a reason to get out of the will of God and to get out from the ministry. If God has chosen you and placed you in the ministry, then who are you to stop serving Him? Who gave you the authority to stop doing His ministry? Wrong choices made in life could end you up in the biggest misery ever. One true story. There was once a man came to serve fulltime. He choose to serve, because there is no other job offers. Then as he begin to serve, he was doing good eventually, but then, here comes the devil and tested him amd he was caught in sin. The he decided to leave the ministry, but then the pastor warned him if you leave, your life will experience unthinkable miseries.  The pastor said either to take the discipline or do it your way. This foolish man choose to do it his own way. Then he was out, he started food business and it was just ok for few months, then flopped. Then this man was jobless for months, please bear this in mind, he has a wife and 2 kids to feed. And even until today his life still in bad shape, although he has started another food business. Once you are in the ministry and serving God,  it's for life, either you do or die. No turning back. This man was like Lot's wife. Disobedience robbed him of his calling.

No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. If you heard the Lord's calling and you are serious about taking a step of faith to do it, then go ahead, but go according to His timing. Many young Christian they came in to the ministry rushingly and they go out also rushingly. Because they think the world has better choices to offer them. Rethink your calling. Once you are in, it's no turning back and if you turn back, then it's a disaster. It's a one way journey.  To soar higher with Jesus.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
