What is your food...?

John 4:32-34 NKJV

But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.” Therefore the disciples said to one another, “Has anyone brought Him anything to eat?” Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.

Shalom! Day #327. Do you know that your service towards God is your livelihoods? Let's pray.  Father, let us draw life from You. May You be the centre of our living. Our source of living. Let Your ministry be our food, our daily bread. In Jesus name we ask and pray,  amen!

The food that satisfies the hunger of Jesus is the will of God. The hunger wasn't based on natural food, but spiritual. Do you hunger and thirst after the things of God today? Jesus was driven with such an extraordinary passion towards doing the will of God. He only has 3 years time period to complete the task which God has entrusted to Him. Jesus took His calling and His mission seriously.  Every minute of His life is precious therefore He uses every opportunities that He has to do the will of God. The disciples did not understand it.

What satisfies our hunger? Of course you would answer a delicious food. But for Jesus that delicious food was to do the will of God and to complete His work. I'm not saying that you must starve to death, no. What I'm trying to say is, our lives as a believer of Christ isn't just about eating, sleeping, working and so on, but let every minutes of our lives be dedicated in doing His will and His work. Therefore let us not prioritize food as our main source of living, but it's all about doing the will of God and completing His works.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
