Your sins are forgiven...!

Luke 5:20, 32 NKJV

When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.” I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

Shalom! Day #309. Do you know that Jesus seeks true repentance from us and not a cover up of righteousness? Let's pray.  Father, we acknowledge that we are sinners and have sinned against You. Father, we want to be transparent before You and not to hide behind our false righteousness. We need Your grace and mercy. Come touch us, heal us, revive us and set us free from the bondages of sin. In Jesus name we ask and pray, amen!

Christ's death provided a way for all people to come to God. It cleared away the sin that keeps us from having a right relationship with our Creator. This does not mean that everyone has been saved, but that the way has been cleared for anyone who will trust Christ to be saved. We can have peace with God and be reconciled to him by accepting Christ, who died in our place. Is there a distance between you and the Creator? Be reconciled to God. Come to him through Christ. John the Baptist said, let your repentance to produce fruits. What are the fruits of our repentance? As for my understanding, to live a blameless life, to do good, to love God and His people, to be holy and righteous before God, to do His will and to live for Him.

People who do not acknowledge Jesus, are self righteous people. And therefore for them, they think that they aren't sinners. Jesus said the He came not to call the righteous,  but sinners to repentance. I am a sinner, the chief of all. I'm glad that Jesus came to save a sinner like me. He changed my life totally. He died for me and I live for Him. No longer live in your sins but repent and be reconciled with God. Is there any secret sins in us that man cannot see but God is seeing it and the Holy Spirit is convicting us today? Repent and let God to cleanse us whiter than the snow. Many of us young or old are entangled with pornography,  it's a form of secret sin as well. I'm saying this not because I am so holy, but it is our battle and we have to fight it and not to give in to it. So come, God is inviting us today. The path to repentance has been cleared, therefore come boldly before God and repent and be reconciled with God.

Let this day be the day of the Lord!
